I said before that I
like to fix up clothes I buy from thrift stores. Well this dress was the most dramatic change I had ever done to a dress. I've never done much sewing, but luckily my
grandmother was willing to help.
So I made a trip up to her place with a full length floral dress that was 10 sizes too big for me that I had bought at Hope's Closet because I liked the pattern and it looked like it could be easily fixed up.

We adjusted the straps and took up the length to my knees and added a zipper in the back. After that we went to Hobby Lobby to buy lace to add at the top and buttons.
This is the dress on my lovely sister, Hannah. We added a belt from Urban Outfitters, a little yellow bag from Target, and a classy hat also from Target, all to complete the outfit.

I was really happy with the result and it fits great!
